Responsibilities of Generator Technicians:
- Inspect machinery and equipment mainly air compressors and generators
- Annual service changing oil
- Service on generator, performing load bank, absolute generator repairs
- Perform planned maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and troubleshooting on commercial and industrial generators.
- Working on automatic transfer switches
- Checks and maintains stock of minor electrical repair parts and notifies supervisor of possible shortages
Qualifications Generator Techs:
- 5 years of Generator, Equipment, or Diesel experience highly preferred
- Compressor and generator experience highly preferred
- Associates degree in diesel technology or electrical related trade preferred
- knowledge of CAT, John Deere, and/or ComAP electrical tools preferred
- Proficient in installing, maintaining, repairing, and testing a variety of systems.
