King University is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Track and Field Coach. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head Track and Field Coach with all aspects of the Track and Field programs, with am emphasis on horizontal and vertical jumps.

• Supervise all activities related to the student athletes; provide professional mentoring to student-athletes; Recruit student / athletes that meet King University Admission guidelines to achieve roster goals and field a competitive team;
• Provide academic, personal, and professional mentoring to student-athletes; Comply with all NCAA rules and regulations;

Minimum Qualifications : A Bachelor's degree is required. Candidates should possess a thorough knowledge of track and field, a sophisticated understanding of coaching and training strategies, and a demonstrated ability to enhance student athlete development.

One year experience coaching at the collegiate level. Demonstrated ability and success in identifying and recruiting student athletes at a private, residential institution.

Special Consideration will be given to candidates with experience coaching or competing in pole vault.
