JOB TITLE : CNC Machine Operator
LOCATION : Bristol, Rhode Island
HOURS : 2nd and 3rd Shift; Fulltime
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform set-up for complex / advanced / non-routine jobs with little or no supervision
- Use measuring equipment effectively such as micrometers and calipers
- Work from written procedures and work routers
- Dismantle jigs, tools, and special fixtures
- Make tooling as necessary
- Maintain drawing specifications by monitoring dimensional and visual characteristics to detect non-conformances
- Handle raw material and hazardous waste safely and in an environmentally responsible manner
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
Successful candidates will have :
- High School Diploma or equivalent (will consider candidates with considerable experience in lieu of education requirement)
- 1 Years Experience in CNC Machining for Mills, Lathes or Grinding, required
- 6 months experience with CNC Certification and Training
- Effective verbal / written communications skills and organizational skills
- Must have strong work ethic, attention to detail, good attendance, and flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Work in a manner that complies with all site policies and procedures, actively demonstrate SG principles of conduct & action, and adhere to all EHS requirements
