Victrex is Hiring a CNC Machinist Near Bristol, RI
Accountabilities include:
- Plans and delivers machining through work orders, engineering plans, materials, specifications, drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances
- Programs machinery, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs
- Performs all machine shop operations including setup, tools, fixtures and work pieces
- Performs inspection of machined products, and documents results in material requirements planning software
- Collaborates with engineering and quality staff to improve machining and inspection operations.
