- Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience gained within industry
- Experience of working in a fast paced, commercially driven environment
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Experience of working in a product-led industry
- Leading process improvements and managing change
- Experience gained within the Fresh Produce , FMCG or Logistics Industries
- Multi-site experience preferred
- System development & implementation skills Key Responsibilities
- Support, challenge, and provide insight to the Managers of each site
- Weekly and monthly P&L reporting
- Monthly and quarterly forecasts
- Annual budgets
- Variance analysis
- KPI’s
- Benchmarking
- Ad-hoc analysis to drive business performance
- Provide commercial support and performance variances , identifying risks and opportunities to enable delivery of their targets
- Develop, rigorously challenge, the budget/forecast assumptions and KPIs on an on-going basis, and report this to the Branch Managers and Divisional Team
- Produce Monthly reporting pack and participate in the Monthly Review Meeting
- Produce Monthly Management Accounts and all central reporting working in collaboration with the central finance team
- Production and evaluation of business cases including capital expenditure proposals
- Ensure that strong financial controls are in place across all branches
