Position: CNC Operator
Talon Products is an industry leading manufacturer of flat panels for industries including recreational vehicles (RV), transportation, construction, and virtually any industry where flat panels are used. Talon employs the latest technology and automation to efficiently produce the highest quality panels across these industries.
We are currently looking for a highly motivated, competent CNC Operator to provide top quality products to our customers.
We offer competitive wages plus a weekly $2.00 per hour Perfect Attendance Bonus and a Full Benefits Package.
Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to loading and unloading parts and panels onto the cutting table, loading programs, verifying correct tooling for the current job. Must verify that measurements are correct after running programs and must always maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Proven experience as CNC operator
- Must be extremely quality conscious
- Keen attention to detail, visual checks as well as listening for noise that is out of the ordinary
- Must be an effective communicator, reading and writing in English. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Must have working knowledge of router tooling to include drill bits, end mills, and chamfering tools and understand these tools and their functions are critical to producing quality parts.
- Ability to accurately use and read measuring equipment; tape measures, micrometers and calipers
- Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
- Ability to lift and move 70 lbs.
- Frequently move 40lbs.
- Standing for long periods of time
- Must possess basic computer knowledge and experience in Windows based programs
