The Conversion Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining various machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing process. They ensure that production runs smoothly, meeting quality standards and production targets.

$18hr (All shift train on 1st shift)

Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation: Operate production machinery, including but not limited to converting machines, laminators, slitters, and rewinders.
• Quality Control: Monitor product quality throughout the production process, performing inspections and making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues as needed.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Identify and address potential safety hazards.
• Production Support: Assist with setting up production runs, including loading raw materials, adjusting machine settings, and performing test runs.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate production records and documentation, including production logs, quality control reports, and maintenance records.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the production team to optimize workflow and achieve production goals. Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical education or certifications in manufacturing or mechanics is preferred.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a role involving machine operation or maintenance.
