Reporting to the Terminal Manager, this role will be based at our Eagle Farm Terminal. This role will provide assistance to the Terminal Manager in overseeing and controlling the daily operations of the terminal. You will be responsible for safe, efficient, and smooth operations, including stock quality and quantity control, product receipts from overseas imports, storage and distribution of all products stored at the terminal. This is a 24-hour terminal with a 4-5, 5-4, 5-5 12hr rotating shift roster (subject to change). Responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to: Performing all work activities related to product receipts; specifically ship, truck and pipeline, receipt including Product transfers from Ships, Road Tankers, Pipelines, and internal tank to tank. Coordinating with supply schedulers, suppliers, and transporters for all product movements. Performing blending, sampling, and testing of all products to meet specifications and monitoring and maintaining equipment and documentation. Performing inspections and maintenance to ensure proper operation, and environmental integrity of the plant and equipment. Scheduling and directing maintenance activities as needed and work with contractors to ensure adherence to terminal operating rules and safe work practices. Assisting terminal management with safety objectives by maintaining a strong HSSE culture and developing awareness of all users of the terminal. Monitoring and maintaining site integrity to ensure site is operating and maintained in a safe and reliable manner through the identification of hazards / risks. When required, providing relief to Terminal Manager to cover annual and personal leave or training. about you We know our greatest resource is the ingenuity, creativity, and innovation of our people. Knowledge, skills, experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a marine terminal operations role, bulk fuel handling receipt and storage & distribution procedures within a terminal or refinery operation. Knowledge of plant & maintenance, pumping & piping systems, and associated safety and environmental awareness is required. Demonstrated ability to work within and help maintain a strong team environment to achieve the safe and efficient daily operations of the terminal. Demonstrated ability to interpret & apply HSE policies & practices. MSIC, forklift and drivers licence essential. Loading Master/Mechanical/Technical field qualification desirable.
