Job Description: This position involves the enhancement and support of tools that that aid in 5G base station configuration and management. Development of tools will be done primarily in Python. Configuration items are mapped closely to 3GPP standards (e.g. RRC ASN.1) and require tools to manage dependencies based on user configuration selection.
The ideal candidate will have experience in software application lifecycles, work collaboratively within a team, be capable of debugging and troubleshooting system level problems, and learn new technologies as needed. Candidates with familiarity with 3GPP protocol (RRC) specifications are preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
0-4 yrs industry experience
2 years experience with Python
1 years experience with regular expressions
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing in Python with Regex libraries
Familiarity with C/C
Experience with git
Experience with basic IP networking concepts and programming.
Experience in Software application development lifecycle.
Experience with the CentOS Linux development environment.
Experience working collaboratively within a team.
Experience in debugging and troubleshooting problems.
Experience in developing Object Oriented Frameworks and reusable software modules.
Understanding of 4G (LTE)/5G wireless protocols.
Education:
Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Networks & Systems and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering and/or Information Technology
