As a Bridge Engineer for CEC, you will develop calculations, details, and specifications for transportation-related structures for a broad range of commercial, industrial, and government clients. Designs will include bridges and other structures including culverts, slabs, retaining walls, and foundations. Projects include new structures and bridge rehabilitations delivered using Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build procurement methods. You'll perform or review structural design calculations; assist with the production of project plans, specifications, reports and cost estimates; assist with marketing efforts including proposal development and estimating the cost of engineering services; and perform bridge inspections or other structural assessments and subsequent reporting.
