Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Loss Prevention Officer. As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, employees, and customers. You will play a crucial role in preventing theft, minimizing losses, and maintaining a safe environment. Responsibilities: - Conduct surveillance through CCTV systems to identify any suspicious activities or behaviors - Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized access - Patrol the premises on foot to deter theft and vandalism - Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies, such as accidents or medical situations - Conduct investigations into incidents of theft or other criminal activities - Gather evidence, interview witnesses, and write detailed reports for management and law enforcement agencies - Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary - Implement loss prevention strategies and procedures to minimize risks - Train employees on loss prevention techniques and procedures - Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, and training sessions Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in loss prevention or related field is preferred - Proven experience in loss prevention, security, or a related field is highly desirable - Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques - Familiarity with criminal investigation procedures and techniques - Strong understanding of law enforcement principles and practices - Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for report writing and interacting with individuals at all levels - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
