The Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach reports to the Athletic Director and is responsible for planning and administering all aspects of the men’s lacrosse program under the direction of the Athletic Director. Directs, provides leadership, and oversees all coaching duties for the Brevard College Lacrosse Program operating under NCAA Division III, USA South Athletic Conference, and Brevard College bylaws and regulations. Directs and coordinates all aspects of student-athlete recruitment and training for athletic competition, and oversees the planning and fiscal management of the program.
A Bachelor's degree is required. Desired qualifications include at least five years of experience as Head Coach or Assistant Men’s Lacrosse Coach; preference will be given to candidates with head coaching experience.
A successful record of proven coaching ability with demonstrated ability to recruit and retain qualified student-athletes with emphasis on timely progress toward graduation. The ability to operate an intercollegiate lacrosse program within budget parameters is required along with a demonstrated ability to raise funds within the community. Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills with a comprehensive knowledge of NCAA Division III rules and regulations.
