Position Summary:
- We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at our nursing home facility.
- The LPN will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents in a safe and nurturing environment.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical skills, empathy, and a commitment to promoting the health and well-being of our residents.
- Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, adhering to established care plans and protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with medication management policies.
- Monitor resident health status, including vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition, and report findings to the registered nurse or healthcare provider.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, while promoting independence and dignity.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members, including registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, therapists, and social workers, to coordinate resident care and support individualized treatment goals.
- Respond promptly to resident emergencies and provide appropriate interventions, including CPR and first aid, as needed.
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program #HCC
- Previous experience in a long-term care or nursing home setting.
- Valid license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in NH or Compact.
- BLS – Basic Life Support
- ACLS
