The Wilkin County Highway Department has an immediate opening for a Highway Maintenance Worker/ Heavy Equipment Operator. This position is responsible for operating, repairing and maintaining equipment, roads, bridges, culverts, buildings and lots. This position is also responsible for snow, ice, and debris removal from roads.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school education or equivalent and two or more years’ experience in the operation of heavy equipment and/or a Technical College certification in equipment operation. Must be able to obtain a Class “A” Minnesota Commercial Driver’s License within 6 months or date of hire.

Salary & Benefits
