Busy Olive Branch Primary Care Provider is seeking a part time or full time (Monday - Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm) seasoned Medical Assistant with experience working in a clinic environment.

Medical Assistant needed to help with all aspects of Primary Care Clinic

Medical Assistant duties:

• Assist provider in exam rooms
• Escort patients to exam rooms, interviews patients, measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature
• Perform blood draws, EKG, and rapid diagnostic tests
• Review of all related reports, encounters, and labs in advance of patient intake to have better understanding for reason of visit and to prepare for patient questions
• Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, prepare sterilization as required
• Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls
• All other duties as assigned by practice administrator

Medical Receptionist:
Serves patients by greeting and helping them with registration; scheduling appointments; verifying insurance benefits; utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and assisting with various other clinical responsibilities as needed.

*5 years experience working in a Clinic required

Medical assistants must have knowledge of:

• Healthcare field and medical specialty - Family practice preferred
• Medical terminology
• Grammar, spelling, and punctuation
• EHR experience
