Compensation

$22 / hr to $25 / hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.

Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and / or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Must-haves

• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• 1 year of experience in a technical support role or providing over the phone support
• Ability to demonstrate creative probing questions and over the phone troubleshooting
• Interpersonal skills and patience; calls can last 15-40 minutes, this is NOT a transactional call center position

We are looking for a Tech Support Representative in Bradenton, FL. This person will be responsible for fielding 15-20 inbound inquiries a day on the phone.

Calls will be from field service technicians and customers looking for support of life / safety critical fire alarm systems and products ranging from simple devices like smoke detectors to complex devices like control panels.

Candidates will need to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to do ad-hoc troubleshooting by asking creative probing questions and arriving at proper resolution of issues
