Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Order Entry Specialist to join our dedicated team. The Order Entry Specialist will be responsible for accurately entering and managing orders in our system, ensuring that all orders are processed efficiently and correctly. The ideal candidate will have excellent data entry skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Processing: Accurately enter orders into the company’s order management system, ensuring all details are correct and complete.
• Data Verification: Verify the accuracy of order information, including product specifications, quantities, pricing, and delivery details.
• Coordination: Collaborate with production, shipping, and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues with orders, escalating to appropriate departments as necessary.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of orders and transaction histories.
• Reporting: Generate and distribute order status reports to relevant internal stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of order entry and management processes.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in order entry, data entry, or a related role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with order management systems (e.g., ERP software) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and take proactive steps to resolve them.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience: Familiarity with custom manufacturing processes and order management systems.
• Technical Skills: Experience with ERP systems, specifically in a manufacturing setting.
