BlackRock Resources is Hiring a Manufacturing Plant Manager Near Bowling Green, KY
- BS in Engineering, Material Science, Operations Management or Business (preferred) and or /combination of education and experience
- 8 plus years of Plant Manager manufacturing experience (IS REQUIRED)
- A strong lean manufacturing/Six Sigma background
- Previous experience in metals/industrial manufacturing is strongly desired.
- Travel required.
- Work with Engineering, Maintenance and Quality organization to assure project work is effective and meeting expectations to assure KPI's are meeting desired targets.
- Directing and managing all plant operations with overall responsibilities for production, maintenance, engineering, quality, and other production-related activities while ensuring the mill's number one priority is safety.
- Seek to improve the mill's operational performance and competitive positioning through continuous improvement of production related processes.
- Assisting with overseeing policies, procedures, and processes designed to minimize costs and maximize production.
- Overseeing the mill's manufacturing processes and identifies opportunities for process improvement or efficiency optimization.
- Developing a manufacturing plan and production schedule that increases profit while reducing overhead.
