Airport Courier Service

We are looking to partner with local drivers to transport lost luggage from local airports in a safe and timely manner. To be considered for this role, you should have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record with few traffic violations.

Note you must have a vehicle for this position. Car or Van is sufficient.

Responsibilities

Busy ground transportation company is looking for independent contractor drivers to make deliveries. Orders are placed around the clock : 24 by 7.

Most pickup / deliveries are in and around the Boston area. Some are more long haul : examples include Northern Maine / Vermont, Canada, New York, Washington, DC.

• By job : Amount varies based on client contract rate, vehicle required (car vs cargo van vs sprinter vs truck), on-demand delivery vs scheduled, distance from pickup to delivery, weight of package, wait time at pick up / drop off location, after hours / weekend surcharge, any special requirements.
• Settlements for Independent Contractors weekly for jobs performed 2 weeks back. ie : 2 week lag from job completion to process payments

Skills

and Effectively manage order paperwork including submission of hardcopy PoDs.

• Previous delivery experience desired though not required.
• Valid drivers license required
• Proof of insurance required

Drivers : must provide own vehicle. Specific job requirements / information

Tasks include : Pick up and deliver orders as directed; Provide status information on order progress to dispatch; Obtain sign off / Proof of Delivery (PoD) from order recipients;

and Effectively manage order paperwork including submission of hardcopy PoDs.
