Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry and possess strong leadership skills to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Duties:
- Coordinate and oversee all construction activities
- Manage subcontractors and ensure they are meeting project requirements
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and project specifications
- Develop and maintain project schedules
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality and progress
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders including clients, architects, and engineers
- Manage project budgets and expenses
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role
- Knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings
- Experience with budgeting and cost control in construction projects
- Previous experience working on pipeline projects is a plus
This position requires a background in contract management, proficiency in construction management software, knowledge of OSHA standards, and experience in budgeting for construction projects.
