Eye Catchers Optical is Hiring an Optometric Technician Near Boardman, OH
- As an Optometric Pretester you will play a crucial role in our practice by assisting our optometrists in the preliminary evaluation of patients' vision and eye health. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting initial patient interviews to gather medical history and concerns.
- Performing preliminary vision tests, such as color vision, depth perception, and fundus photography.
- Administering basic diagnostic tests, including autorefraction, non contact tonometry and automated lensometry.
- Administering auxiliary testing including OCT and visual field testing.
- Preparing patients for their examination by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort.
- Maintaining accurate and organized patient records.
- Assisting with office tasks such as filing, scheduling appointments, and verifying insurance information.
- We have 2 locations. The second location is 915 Columbiana-Canfield Rd. Columbiana, OH 44408. Must be able to work in either location.
