At Met Express, we believe Drivers are the backbone of the economy and in this position you will get a chance to assist them in joining the company. You'll utilize both an operational and relational skill set as you ensure that our Drivers are getting the support they need when joining the team.

About this opportunity

The Onboarding Coordinator role is involved with recruiting as well as staying engaged with driver orientations, safety and operations. In this role you will ensure a smooth and successful transition for qualified drivers in orientation.

Pay and Schedule

This position is Monday - Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm. The pay range is $45,000 - $55,000/year dependent on experience.

How will you contribute to the success of the team?

• Cultivating a good relationship with drivers
• On boarding of company drivers
• coordination of transportation and lodging for drivers
• Ordering travel for all recruiting department related activities
• Maintaining a cost savings mindset
• Verifying drivers who are scheduled for on boarding are fully prepared and aware of processes
• Determining rehire eligibility for all former drivers
• Tracking and troubleshooting application issues
• Communicating to the operations team about any schedule changes for on boarding drivers
