Job Details

Responsibilities :

1. Overseeing the production process, ensuring that production is cost-effective and timely.

2. Implementing strategies to improve productivity and efficiency, including lean manufacturing principles.

3. leading and managing a team of production staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and innovation.

4. Developing and implementing process improvements to optimize production efficiency and quality.

5. Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times.

6. Setting and achieving production goals in line with company objectives.

7. Collaborating with other departments to integrate logistics with production processes.

8. Monitoring product standards and implementing quality control programs.

9. Identifying training needs and organizing training interventions to meet quality standards.

10. Reporting on key production metrics to senior management, providing recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications :

1. A bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, or a related field.

2. A minimum of 5 years experience in a production supervisory role within the Engineering industry.

3. Proven experience in production management, lean manufacturing, process improvement, and team leadership.

4. Strong understanding of quality control principles and lean manufacturing methods.

5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a team.

6. Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with strong attention to detail.

7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.

8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a variety of audiences.

9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production-related software.

10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

11. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a production environment.
