Starr Oral Surgery is Hiring an Oral Surgery Assistant Near Bloomington, IN

Starr Oral Surgery is looking for a fun, energetic, and professional surgical assistant to join our team! This full-time opportunity is for an individual with outgoing personality, positive attitude and the maturity to help treat our valued patients. If you are looking to work and collaborate with great colleagues to deliver the highest quality care then we want to hear from you!

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with hour lunch

License/Certification:

  • Certified Dental Assistant (Required)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - (Required)
  • Radiology License (Preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with oral surgery procedures and monitoring patient vitals during surgery
  • Preparing and cleaning surgical suites (rooms)
  • Obtaining 2D and 3D images
  • Maintaining OSHA and HIPAA standards
  • Sterilization of surgical instrumentation and equipment
  • Greeting and escorting patients
  • Entering and managing accurate treatment notes and medical/dental records
  • Helping with inventory and supply management
