This position is part of the VBA MDE (Veterans Benefits Administration Medical Disabilities Examinations) program.

  • Start date: ASAP Pending Training & Credentialing
  • Part-Time: 1 day a week
  • C&P exams (Compensation and Pension Exams)

Your Daily Responsibilities:

  • Perform a complete and thorough comprehensive dental exam to include TMJ evaluation as needed and to collect current data on the potential disability. This is not an exam to recommend treatment.
  • Administer radiographs.
  • Use required computer systems to complete federal disability.
  • Maintain infection control and blood borne pathogen standards.
  • Maintain compliance with Client, Federal, State and Local regulatory, contractual and organizational guidelines including HIPAA as outlined in training and policies/procedures, quality assurance and improvement processes.
  • Work independently without the aid of an assistant.

What You’ll Need to Qualify for this Role:

  • Dentistry Degree (DDS or DMD).
  • Must have an active, unencumbered dental license in any of the 50 states.
  • 2 years of Dental Experience.
  • Knowledge of dental diagnostic and treatment concepts taught in accredited US dental schools.
  • Compensation exam or VA experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Must possess proficient computer skills and be able to complete online documentation.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
  • Current CPR and BLS.
  • All applicants must be fully vaccinated per the CDC and State guidelines.
