Position- CNC Operator

Location- Bloomington, IL 61704

Contract- 10 Weeks

Shift- 16:30-03:00

Hours- 40 Hours in a Week

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts and perform various machining operations.

Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate CNC machines such as mills and lathes
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand product specifications
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of products
- Adjust machine settings to control factors such as speed, feed, and coolant flow
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on machines as needed

Requirements:

- Proficiency in operating CNC machines, including knowledge of Fanuc controls
- Experience with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in machining processes
- Knowledge of packaging requirements for finished products
- Forklift operation experience is a plus
- Understanding of logic controllers is advantageous
