Brief Description:

This position is responsible for providing the Assistant Administrator support for the Township's Information Technology systems. Duties include identifying and resolving IT-related problems and producing reports in a timely manner; installing, configuring, and setting up printers, scanners, software programs- this may include running networking cabling; responds to IT tickets via phone-in, walk-in, and email requests. Other responsibilities include identifying and resolving network problems, software issues, voice, and other computer-related equipment issues. Maintenance of device protection against viruses and malware and analyzing/ diagnosing system failures are required. The position may require some weeknight work.

Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field is required. Certification in at least one of the following: CCNA, Comptia Network , CSA, Comptia A , and Comptia Security is strongly preferred. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Candidates will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey.

Salary: $53,166.52 to $79,060.00; Salary is commensurate with experience.
