Job Haines Home is Hiring a Maintenance Staff Near Bloomfield, NJ
Department: MAINTENANCE
Hours: 1PM-9AM and every 3rd weekend.
Status: FULL TIME
Position Start Date: 6/19/2024 Description
- Maintain the facility, its grounds and its equipment in a safe, clean, and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable federal, state, local standards, guidelines and regulations, established policies and procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance on facility equipment including plumbing, plastering, painting, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical as directed and in accordance with established procedures.
- Complete forms and gather data in an accurate manner.
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Worker of a long term care facility preferred.
- High school diploma
- Valid NJ Driver’s License
- Ability to speak read and write English.
- Compliance with applicable health laws and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations.
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day.
- Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position
- Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthesis that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
- Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability.
- Must be able to lift and move residents, equipment, supplies, etc. in excess of fifty (50) pounds.
