Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated highly skilled Collection Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and accounts receivable. The role involves managing overdue accounts and ensuring timely payments.

Responsibilities:

• Verify the accuracy of billing data and resolve discrepancies or issues.
• Collect outstanding payment and resolve billing related inquiries.
• Maintain and update accounts with payment information, adjustment and credits.
• Collaborate with the internal team to resolve billing and collection issues.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes in a timely manner.
• Monitor accounts receivable and proactively address overdue payments.
• Prepare and analyze various reports related to billing, collection and accounts receivable.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant regulations.
• Providing excellent customer service during interactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues.

Requirements:

• Experienced in Quickbooks
• Experienced in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in account reconciliations
• Strong customer service skills and phone etiquette
