Job Description:
As an Automation Technician at [Your Company Name], you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our automated systems. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to install, troubleshoot, and repair automated equipment, including robotic systems, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and other industrial control systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing, configuring, and testing new automation equipment.
• Conducting routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnosing and resolving issues with automated systems, including mechanical, electrical, and software-related problems.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and upgrades to existing automation systems.
• Documenting maintenance activities, troubleshooting procedures, and system configurations.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent technical certification in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
• Proven experience working with industrial automation systems, including PLCs, robotics, and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with automated systems, including hands-on experience with diagnostic tools and software.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
