Virginia Tech is Hiring an Engineering Tech II Near Blacksburg, VA
Required QualificationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Experience with GIS and demonstrated experience with attention to detail. Bachelors degree in Geography or similar and a minimum of 1 semester working experience with ArcGIS 10. Ability to work as part of a team with minimum supervision.
Preferred QualificationsProgramming experience with VB and/or Python. Experience designing an populating geodatabases. Working knowledge of Virginia Crash Records and the ability to extract an interpret information from freeform text fields.
Pay Band3
Salary Information$15-$18/hr dependent on qualifications
