We are seeking an experienced and committed Donor Engagement Officer. The Donor Engagement Officer works as a team with the Director of Development and Engagement and Executive Director to fulfill the goals and objectives of the Dakota Children’s Advocacy Center. The Donor Engagement Officer creates and maintains a portfolio of major gift prospects, as well as those donors and prospects that have the capacity to give at the major level or higher; communicates with portfolio prospects through face-to-face interaction and ensures that each major donor and prospect has a clear strategy and timeline for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship in support of the organization's annual fund, planned giving, and growth campaigns. This position ensures the strategies are compatible and maximizes opportunities with other existing campaigns and appeals at the DCAC. This role is about transforming the lives of the children and families we serve and the lives of those who get to play a role in this transformation.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, marketing, communications, public administration or related field with experience in development, fundraising, business, marketing or public relations is preferred.

This position can be located in Bismarck, ND or Dickinson, ND, with some travel between the two cities required.
