Calico Construction is Hiring a Skilled Laborer Near Birmingham, MI
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks to support construction projects. PROJECTS OF RENOVATIONS AND NEW BUILD HOMES. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR ELECTRICAL, MECHICAL, OR PLUMBING EXPERIENCE.
Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks involving physical labor on renovations/new construction homes
- Operate hand and power tools of all types (TOOLS ARE PROVIDED)
- Assist in the assembly and disassembly of structures/DEMO work will be required
- Follow instructions to perform manual labor tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Experience:
-DEMO EXPERIENCE
-RENOVATION EXPERIENCE
-MUD/ OR DRYWALL ( NOT MANDATORY)
- Knowledge of basic carpentry techniques (USING TOOLS)
WE ARE LOOKING TO TEACH AND LEARN. PLEASE REACH OUT EVEN IF YOU MIGHT NOT FIT THE CRITERIA BUT MIGHT BE OPEN TO LEARNING/TEACHING OPPORTUNITIES.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
