Day to Day: 

Insight Global Health is seeking a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) for a large outpatient facility in Birmingham, AL. This person will be responsible for assisting physicians and other providers in various clinic and administrative tasks - including, but not limited to the following:

• Welcoming patients, taking vitals, charting patient identification, etc.
• Administering injections, phlebotomy, performing basic lab tests as directed by provider, etc.
• Educating patients on medications, diet, and self-care instructions.
• Communicating with other health care professionals and facilities as needed.

Required Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid CCMA Certification
• 2 years of experience
• BLS Certification
