Job Responsibilities

As the Medical Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact, setting the tone for an exceptional optical journey. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Adhering to the work schedule and maintain punctuality to minimize disruptions.
  • Provide a warm and professional welcome to our practice.
  • Schedule appointments accurately and assist with new patient forms.
  • Coordinate patient flow and handle phone inquiries efficiently.
  • Manage patient records, follow-up appointments, and referral systems.
  • Collect patient fees, educate on services/products, and maintain practice profitability.
  • Ensure overall practice cleanliness, inventory, and front desk procedures.
  • Maintain professionalism and assist team members as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum education: High School diploma or equivalent
  • Computer proficiency and general math skills.
  • Previous experience in front desk and administrative roles.
  • Personable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, maintain a professional attitude, and handle physical demands of the role.
