Job Summary: The Children's Home is looking for an Inventory Clerk!! The Inventory Clerk is responsible for ensuring that technology assets are tracked, received, recovered, deployed, damaged and retired in a controlled manner. The Inventory Clerk processes all incoming equipment, validates each shipment, and updates the asset inventory database.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
• One year of inventory control, record keeping, or clerical experience is required
• Knowledge of asset management principles and FIFO methods
• Must be able to maintain a positive attitude and exhibit professionalism
• Must be able to work as a member of a team, and work with all members of the agency
• Requires attention to detail, strong written, and verbal communication
• Proficient in Multitasking
• Valid Drivers License

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Track asset utilization and ensure assets not in use are recovered, inventoried, relocated, or disposed of in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Manage the movement of equipment between multiple off sites
• Develops and maintains process for check in and check out of loaned equipment.
• Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly asset reports
• Responsible for following, supporting, and enforcing all internal control processes and procedures
• Participates in Team meetings to discuss activities, solutions, and recommendations for improvement
• Duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift up to 50lbs. and climb ladders up to 10 feet
• Some travel may be required

Special Requirements:

• The incumbent must have passed the Background Check with no record of criminal convictions.
• The incumbent must meet and comply CHOWC Employment and Acceptable Use Policies.
• The incumbent must be able to handle confidential data, the disclosure of which is protected by law.
