Job Description:

An ISO 13485 registered manufacturer of Orthopedic Medical Instruments has opening for Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping the machines running as efficiently as possible in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Comply with Company Safety Policies and Procedures
• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to diagnose problems
• Knowledge of general repair, light carpentry, plumbing and electrical
• Knowledge and the proper use of machine shop equipment
• Troubleshoot problems to identify root cause and take appropriate corrective action
• Communicate status of equipment to operations and management personnel
• Responsible for preventive maintenance of all manufacturing equipment
• Recommends and improve PM
• Recommends critical spare parts needed to maintain equipment
• Documents completion of PM
• Implements and coordinates repair of process equipment
• Additional duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Trade school education, High school diploma or GED
• 3 years Maintenance/Mechanic Experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient verbal and written English
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to bend, pull, stoop, stand, walk, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and reach to perform functions
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Legal right to work in the U.S.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
