To Be Successful In This Role, You Should Have
- Bachelor’s degree in petroleum, chemical, or mechanical engineering.
- Minimum of seven years of experience in upstream oil and gas operations.
- Must have excellent computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Excel. Must have ability to
- Experience with Aries, Rodstar, SCADA systems, Spotfire/PowerBI, WellEZ are preferred.
- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and a high degree of emotional intelligence.
- Must be self-motivated and have a high level of personal responsibility and accountability.
- Willingness to spend significant time in the field.
- Ability to travel to other locations as needed.
- Train and mentor fellow engineers and field staff in a collaborative team environment
- Work with General Manager and operations management to provide oversight on LOE budget,
- Assist field leadership and personnel to identify and resolve day to day operational issues.
- Play an active role in production optimization by monitoring and tracking production history.
- Work in field to optimize volume variances, track equipment failures, develop and implement
- Work with Land department to ensure wells hold key acreage while providing economic
- Participate in incident and near-miss reviews, ensure compliance with safety guidelines and
- Collaborate with drilling, completions, reservoir on a weekly basis.
- Experience with H2S is a plus.
- Staying updated on the latest technologies and best practices in the industry
