Overview:

Well established medical device manufacturer on the North Shore is seeking a talented purchasing professsional to manage supply chain requirements for the company. This involves oversight of existing supplier base, qualification of new suppliers, as well as employing various strategies to ensure production schedule meets customer demand.

Duties:

• Qualify and manage suppliers to ensure the best price at the optimum quality
• Utilze operating strategies to maintain production schedule
• Work with internal stakeholders to process requests; delivery dates, delays, changes, etc. that could impact production
• Meet with internal stakeholders to determine optimum inventory levels to meet demand and inventory turns
• Assist with pricing, forecasting and planning of product lines
• Address surplus inventory accordingly

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years in purchasing/procurement
• Experience in medical device/equipment or regulated product environment preferred
• Experience with inventory planning/forecasting preferred
• Expereince with ERP systems and MRP tools required
• APICS Certifcation a plus
