Kforce is Hiring a Production Planner / Scheduler II Near Beverly, MA
- Production Planner/Scheduler II will plan and release work orders to Manufacturing per MRP requirements using Microsoft D365 ERP System
- Work closely with the Production Managers to schedule/reschedule production priorities
- Track shortages and interface with Purchasing to expedite parts and to confirm that delivery dates meet scheduling requirements
- Review WIP work orders for actioning and research and resolve WIP inventory discrepancies
- Perform production receipts and close and issue to stock or work order and sales order shortages
- Implement Engineering Change Orders, ensure work orders are built at the correct revision and resolve any discrepancies with non-conforming parts through the MRB process
- Work with Technicians and Engineering to resolve issues
- Review and approve daily incoming sales order requests and advise on material availability to requestors
- Work closely with Service, Warehouse, and the other Planners to ensure all sales orders are sent out to the customers by the dates required
- As a Production Planner/Scheduler II, you will review and action open sales order report
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to lean activities that drive improvements across the site
- Other projects and activities as required
- B.S. degree or equivalent experience is preferred
- 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Manufacturing
- Working knowledge of relevant ERP functionality including planning, multi-level bills of materials and inventory management; Experience with Microsoft D365 ERP a plus
- Experience in production and materials planning, and inventory management roles
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Product data management and Bills of Materials
- Experience with ISO9001 and Lean Manufacturing concepts
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills and a flair for multi-tasking and making sound decisions
- High degree of professional integrity, ethics, and confidentiality
- Ability to be personally accountable and still thrive in a team environment
