ESTIMATED PAY RANGE$65,000 - $80,000
Job SummaryAs an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for: designing electronics and printed circuit boards; designing, coordinating, and conducting tests of electrical systems, parts, and equipment; evaluating test results and implementing corrections and adjustments to solve problems or inefficiencies; testing designs to ensure production capabilities; conduct research activities including exploration and selection of new components; prepare technical design specifications; perform embedded hardware design activities including component selection, schematic generation, bills of materials, and prototype tests, and working collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering required
- Experience with testing designs to ensure manufacturability required
- Ability to work in a production/manufacturing environment required
- High mechanical aptitude required
- Ability to develop and maintain architecture, schematic, verification plans, and layouts of electrical and electronic systems preferred
- Experience with Arduino, RaspberryPi, PSpice or LTSpice preferred
- Automotive or agricultural background a plus
- Capable of working independently and as a team member
- Strong work ethic and unwavering integrity
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a learning mindset
- Curiosity, problem solving, and analytical thinking
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Desire to work on a variety of projects
