Hours are Monday through Thursday, 8am-4pm, Fridays until 3pm. MAKE A DIFFERENCE AS A SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHERPrimary responsibilities for the special education teacher position include providing 1-on-1 and small group tutoring to students grades 7-12, creating and monitoring Individual Education Plans (IEP), and conducting IEP meetings. Your days will involve providing support and guidance to students, collaborating with colleagues to create inclusive learning environments, and implementing innovative teaching strategies.
Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor's degree or higher level of education, and either PA special education certification or the ability to obtain certification.We welcome qualified candidates who are interested in becoming teachers. We also welcome retired teachers who miss being in the classroom!

The staff maintains communication with parents and professionals so that all of the adults in the teenagers life are cooperating in support of the same goals.
