What You Will DoThe Inventory Coordinator has the primary responsibility for inventory management and accuracy in the Freshpet manufacturing locations.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Problem solve and resolve recurring inventory discrepancies.
- Partner with all departments to communicate and re-train employees on proper scanning and inventory procedures
- Identify gaps and optimize processes in material flow
- Review, update and create procedures as needed
- Ensure all departments are compliant with FIFO principles, and partner to resolve issues that are causing compliance gaps
- Perform incremental inventory counts for specific areas that have substantial inventory discrepancies
- Identify slow moving and near-obsolete material, and problem solve any gaps
- HS diploma or equivalent required; 2- or 4-year degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in Warehouse operations required
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- High level of proficiency in Macola (Wisys)
- Strong sense of urgency & attention to detail
- Excellent organization, communication, and follow-up skills
- Able to influence others
- Ability to self-direct and take constructive action in ambiguous situations
- Extremely high standards of excellence
