ARETUM, a leading government contracting company specializing in technology-enabled mission support services, is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Contracts Specialist to join our team.

As a Contracts Specialist at ARETUM, you will play a crucial role in supporting the contracts process for our projects, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and facilitating successful collaborations with clients and vendors.

ARETUM is known for providing cutting-edge solutions and outstanding service to Federal clients in various sectors, including Next Generation Analytics, Engineering Services, Training Services, IT Systems, Cyber Security, PMO Support, and Financial Consulting.

Responsibilities

  • Support contract negotiations and administration, working closely with the Contracts Administrator and Program Managers
  • Ensure compliance with contractual policies and regulations, including FAR regulations
  • Manage and monitor contract performance, ensuring adherence to proposal terms and conditions
  • Assist in coordinating proposal support and preparation, reviewing solicitation documents for compliance
  • Draft and review pre and post award documents and agreements, including NDAs, TAs, MOUs, and commercial agreements
  • Maintain accurate and auditable contract files
  • Assist with company contractual novation documentation and annual compliance procedures related to GSA Schedules
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve contractual issues and foster strong relationships
  • Assist with legal responses related to contracts and participate in audits and data calls

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in contract negotiation, administration, or management
  • Strong knowledge of FAR and DFAR clauses
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience working with GSA Contracting (FEDSIM) is a plus
  • Government Contracting knowledge is (REQUIRED)
