Provide technical leadership as well as hands-on expertise in the areas of equipment installation, start-up and maintenance for all plant facilities and equipment.

Responsible for equipment troubleshooting and repair as well as the training and development of plant maintenance personnel.

Leadership of preventive and predictive maintenance programs and standards.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities :

• Oversees / maintains plant HS&E policies and programs in conjunction with the Corporate Plant Manager.
• Ensures that machines / production equipment is installed and functioning to specifications.
• Perform hands-on repairs / maintenance to insure the safe and proper operation of production equipment and corporate facilities.
• Coordinate outside vendor services in support of maintenance, upkeep, repair and upgrades of machinery, buildings and operations.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance schedules and metrics to drive improvement.
• Writes operating instructions or programs and works to ensure that proper training is provided to workers to implement operating procedures, safety protocols, and to avoid system malfunctions.
• Identify and execute ways in which to facilitate more cost-effective repairs and maintenance.
• Work closely with the Operations Manager and other plant leadership.
• Other related duties as requested by the supervisor.

Job Specifications / Skills :

Minimum of 5 (five) years of experience as a maintenance technician with experience in the planning and control of maintenance operations in a manufacturing environment;

process industry preferred.

• Physical ability to lift and / or carry a minimum of 50lbs for up to 8 hours.
• Knowledge of all Federal, State, and local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
