We are seeking someone with:

Desired qualities:

2 years veterinary clinic experience

Responsibilities:- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians in providing care to animals- Comfort and secure animals during examinations and procedures- Prepare and clean examination rooms and surgical areas- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians- Collect and prepare laboratory samples for testing- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as bloodwork and urinalysis

-Accurately calculate and dispense medications prescribed by veterinarians

-Assist with anesthesia induction, monitoring and recovery- Maintain accurate records, detailed SOAPs, patient care and treatment- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition- Assist with pet grooming as needed

Skills:- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and veterinary staff- Ability to handle animals with care, compassion, and patience- Knowledge of animal behavior and basic training techniques for dogs

Job Types: Part-time, potential Full-time

Salary: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
