The Engineering Document Controller reports to the Chief Engineer. The Document Controller is organized, with excellent attention to detail and is capable of multi-tasking and self-prioritizing workload. He or she must be capable of reviewing mechanical and electrical technical drawings to be able to extract BOM and other pertinent information. They must be able to work in multiple software programs, with strong skills in all Microsoft office suite products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint. The Engineering Document Controller must be able to effectively communicate with engineers, other groups with the company, and outside vendors and customers, utilizing excellent verbal and written skills.
