JOB FUNCTIONS:
Fabrication of parts and machinery using various welding, cutting, and grinding techniques. Must be able to weld components in all positions with good penetration and quality.
Ensure welding quality and accuracy by inspecting for defects to ensure conformance with specifications.
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
Safely operate various tools and types of shop equipment including a forklift. Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition. Must complete housekeeping duties as necessary.
Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have 2-5 years previous experience in TIG and MIG welding. Primary required experience will be MIG welding.
Ability to work with stainless and mild steel materials.
Must be able to proficiently read and interpret blueprints, welding process specifications, welding symbols, and job packet material.
Physical requirements include welding components in all positions including laying, standing, bending, twisting and reaching. Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift. This would include frequently lifting of objects up to 20-70 lbs. or operating equipment designed for lifting heavier materials.
