Job Responsibilities
- Plan curriculum, lessons, and special education programs and teaching methods.
- Maintain the physical environment of the classroom for organization and presentation purposes.
- Instruct individuals and groups on Special Ed. skill areas.
- Modify curriculum according to IEP and administer testing evaluations.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field, along with appropriate state certifications for Special Education teaching.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching students with diverse exceptionalities, preferably within a school setting.
- Active license as a Special Education Teacher for PA.
- 2 years of experience working as a special education teacher.
