This is a Union position. You will be required to sign up with the Teamsters Union Local 853 during orientation if selected for this role. There is a starting pay rate of $24.06 with 3 step progressions to $25.28, $26.51, then $27.73, each after an additional 60 working days. You will need to pass a back ground check and CA state approved drug screen.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Parts Person to join our team. The Parts Person will be responsible for managing inventory and ensuring that the right parts are available for our installers. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description:

Must be able to work to standards and maintain quality. Must be able to sign/distribute incoming shipments. Parts person must check the original order to make sure part numbers match. Must check for damage on any shipment before signing/receiving. Parts person must know all locations and keep parts placement areas organized. Cycle counts and quality checks must be done frequently for inventory accuracy. Must have good attendance and work ethic. Must be willing and able to travel off-site if requested for other job duties/tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory levels and ensure adequate stock of parts
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments of parts
• Maintain accurate records of inventory
• Work closely with team to ensure they have the parts they need to complete task
• Keep work area clean and organized

Qualifications:

• Some Wearhouse experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with inventory management software (EXCEL)
• Proficient writing emails

Certification:

Will train for forklift certification.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. This position may require working overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

May be required to obtain TWIC badge (Transportation Working Identification Credential).
